Tia Juanita`s in Beaumont

Two people in our party of eight ordered Shrimp and Grits. It was my daughter's birthday and she was disappointed. She had gotten the Shrimp and Grits twice before but it wasn't as good this time. The bowl was half full of mushy squash and zucchini. It was supposed to be sauteed veggies on the side. My husband likes squash but said it was too much for him also. My fish tacos were okay but didn't have any dressing on the cabbage. We were at a table by the door and the people were streaming past us. I guess they were coming in for the noise. It was the loudest restaurant I have ever been to.

Great place. Their food is amazing and the live music was great. It was not to loud, and the singer sang some great tunes. It gets very crowded and busy here. Make sure you come before it gets busy or be ready for a wait. The parking lot is not the best either. Don't be discouraged the place is worth the wait. The wait staff is very attentive and keep you well taken care of.

Awesome Cajun seafood. Lots of variety on the menu and a full bar go with it. Great prices and portions...We'll definitely be back.

The food was delicious! Especially the alligator bites and fish tacos. I wasn’t as excited about the seafood gumbo (probably because I’m partial to homemade). Our cocktails were also good. Our server seems to be having a bit of a bad day, but warmed up as the meal went on. Would recommend for anyone traveling in and around Beaumont!

Loved the food but my drink was terrible and it cost me $10... Would have given 5star but for the drink.

Not sure if this was because it was close to closing time but the shrimp po boy was not good at all. The shrimp wasn't seasoned very well and the gumbo was bland. The very 1st time I ate here which was in September, the food was ABSOLUTELY amazing so I'm guessing it is because it was almost closing time. Both times I went, their customer service was superb! Would I recommend this place? Yes...just go when its not so close to them getting ready to close.

I've been here three times, never disappointed. The seafood enchiladas are amazing!!! Also great drink options

We ordered a shrimp Po Boy and Greek salad to go and didn’t even have to wait 10 minutes! The quality and flavor of our meals were outstanding! Reasonable prices especially for the amount of food.

The gumbo!!!! Hands down, the best in my book on the side of my own and my mom's! Also, I love the atmosphere... whether I go with family, or just my girlfriends, we always have a great time and the service is always great. If you're looking for a good drink for happy hour or whenever, here's your spot!

Large servings of amazing food. The pistollettes appetizer was soo good I had to get more for breakfast :-) Shrimp embrochette were very good too.

Always great food here the one in Jasper is getting better this is v one of our favorite places to eat in Beaumont

The queso was excellent. The fish tacos were amazing as well. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were friendly.

Had lunch here today and it was awesome. Excellent salsa to begin with. I had the grilled shrimp quesadilla and my friend had the shrimp tacos. Food was fresh and had great flavor. Love this place

If you want me to walk 10ft from the front door to the bar with a mask and then take it off, well you need to provide one for me. Love the food but i'll never be back. Sheep.

This place is great. The absolutely best seafood Enchiladas I have ever tasted. They have some delicious appetizers, one of which is shrimp etouffee in a little bread bowl, delicious. Very healthy portions and a good value for the quality of food. The service was spot on, fast and friendly people.

Tia Juanita's will cook fish that you catch if you bring it in a bag already filleted. It is worth it as it saves quite a bit of money and comes out tasting great. The hurricane-rita is a great drink to get here as well.

Crawfish were great!! The crab bowl appetizer was hands down one of my favorite dishes! I will definitely be back to get that dish alone. The margaritas were strong and all the food and drinks came out in a timely manner.

The food and drinks were good as usual but the star was our waiter he was New but knowledgeable about menu and made it a good experience

Stuffed mushrooms were cold inside, but I was assured the stuffing is fully cooked prior to being put in the mushrooms. Shrimp taco was good, just enough cilantro to liven it up. The seafood gumbo was absolutely the highlight of my visit. It was chock full of shrimp and crab, and tasted like the roux took all day. Perfect amount of rice, and no tomatoes or okra, which some inauthentic restaurants put in theirs. I'd go back just for the gumbo!

The food is a mesh of Mexican and Cajun food. Lots of seafood dishes, cooked with a Tex Mex flair. There are also a few grilled choices. The drinks were also good and reasonably price. The service was ok.

First time here, I came here with my family. It was an amazing experience I had aligator tacos and chicken sausage gumbo. Also 2 Lonestar beers, they were also great. I also had the fried aligator appetizer. It was all absolutely amazing, I highly recommend coming here if you're into good food.

My favorite is the shrimp tacos!!! I highly recommend them. When it gets busy it takes a good while to get your food, but it is worth the wait. Especially if you get the shrimp tacos!

A very diverse menu from cajun to tex-mex. No need to worry they do both extremely well. Oh the drinks are awesome, just a restaurant that doesn't disappoint.

Music and atmosphere are off the charts. Elaine, our server, performed like an art I thought was long lost in the world today. I'll be eating here every chance I get in the future.Note to the owner:DO NOT LET A SINGLE THING CHANGE! It's perfect.

Best restaurant in Beaumont. Shrimp tacos were great. Friendly fast service. Michael was our server. Kid friendly. Live music (we were there on Friday). Fun atmosphere. Prices are budget friendly

The Boudin Balls were SOOO good, so was the other food (fried platter and seafood gumbo), but those Boudin Balls....

I like everything about this place. I had the fried catfish and fried shrimp basket (includes fries and hush puppies), and I definitely had leftovers. The prices are great (I think mine was $13). Tia Juanita’s has a fun, casual ambiance. I will be coming back here as often as possible!

No mention of an upcharge for substituting vegetables opposed to fries and the crawfish pistollete had a rancid taste, the sauce that came with my boudin ball was yummy but the boudin ball was meh. The fish is great. I love the decor of old colorful signs and posters. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I had the gator tacos. Excellent! Only downer is that I'm only here one day and can't try more. If in the area...go. Quaint and great food.

Fresh tasting food. Thank you. Menu basic but. It was fresh tasting. Mean alot. I had Catfish and shrimp with fries. On point with everything. Server was very nice.

I would give this place a five stars rating but French fries are the seasoned kind and we like French fries. The fish and shrimp plate was wonderful and the Mexican veggie plate with fish was fantastic. Mexican seasoning on veggies would help too. The atmosphere was definitely fishcamp and just what we wanted. Not over the top We n the River but fishcamp. And we splurged for the decadent bread pudding with bourbon sauce. And the service was beyond the call of duty. 4.9 of 5 and only because of the seasoned fries🦊

By far my favorite location. I love the food, the way this location prepares it, how it is served, and the feel of this atmosphere. All the others seem generic or too over the top and fancy. I like the rustic campy atmosphere here.

Alligator tacos is what I had and they were really delicious! It's a bit of a drive from the freeway but well worth it.
